dad died

Friends Passing!!!

A couple weeks ago my neighbor and friend called and said she wanted to stop by. You see she had lost her husband- friend and like brother to me back this past May 09. To make a long story short she comes in the house carrying a plastic bag sets it down and says these are yours. I was in a state of shock you see inside the bag was my friends- Colt Series 70 1911, and stag handle hunting knife. Along with an extra mags and ammo. I almost choked up and cryed. The pistol is like new still in the box with warrenty card and instr-manual. Steve my friend was in Nam as a core-man. I will never part with these items as long as I live. I am so sorry for your loss. At least you have items that belonged to your father. Take Care!!!!!:):):)

Sorry you lost your dad, my dad died 7 years ago at 84 and my sister got to his gun collection before I knew he died and she sold them all and kept the $$$$. Sadly he had many collection pieces that he bought in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

my condolences to you too.

Toughguy good to hear you were able to get your Father's firearms. Sorry to hear another case of problems with a step parent. One thing we can all learn from stories like this is to be sure to have a properly prepared notarized legally binding will.

zxcvbob>> Man, I'm gonna be straight-up. How you put that quote together was just WRONG. No jokes---don't do it. Period.
Rangefinder what does that even mean?
