+1

Best of wishes to you and your family. And I hope your son looks forward to the day you pass.....it on...

zxcvbob>> Man, I'm gonna be straight-up. How you put that quote together was just WRONG. No jokes---don't do it. Period.

Condolences on your loss, but I'm glad you got what should be yours.

"dad died... took years... im so happy"

Outrageous.

Sorry about your loss toughguy. Been there, done that. It gets easier with each passing day, week, month, year.

Glad you got the guns. Sorry for your loss. Before yall come down too hard on the widow, maybe the guns meant a great deal to her as well. Could be a lot of fond memories involved with them. 2 sides to everything.

I too offer my condolences.

Fortunately for me, my dad is a gun nut too. My mom divorced him 15 years ago...
Her new hubby is an even bigger gun nut... His kid's are city folk... I get HIS gun's too when he's done with them (if he don't sell them all first cuz they're po-folk from the Utah desert).. He has some nice ones too.

I'll offer condolences and a bucket full of periods for you to have. they may seem small to you, but to others, they makes reading easier.

stepmother comment

The stepmother invaulved isnt nice and is suspected of killing him. She is now a drunk raising my ; 13 yr old phyco brother . My father chased down a Polish woman and made her his wife , after my mom. He thought they knew how to take care of a man. Well, just a little history for the criticks.

Sorry you lost your dad, my dad died 7 years ago at 84 and my sister got to his gun collection before I knew he died and she sold them all and kept the $$$$. Sadly he had many collection pieces that he bought in the 50's, 60's and 70's.

I understand

In Feb. 08 My mother went to the happy hunting grounds. She left me some very nice guns that are worth more than money to me. Some are family hand-me-downs that are over 100yrs old. The guns have stories with them that keep memories of folks that would other wise be forgoten alive. Pass yours on but use them to make new stories for others to pass along. Old Photos of people show what they looked like, but stories connect folkes with who they were.
Good luck...sorry about your dad.
