CZ75B ... Get One!

I frequently carry a CZ-75 PCR. Its either that or a BHP or HK P7M8. The PCR is the lightest and most comfortable to carry.

I have carried my CZ75B on occasion when I can cover it with a jacket of some sort, but generally I just carry my 342PD. I am one of those fools who doen't think that I will ever need more than that if that!! :)

I completely agree with all the positve comments on the gun and I would never sell mine for any reason, particularly as I live in M*******chusetts and you can't get them anymore with all these liberal f@*kers who would prefer we be politically correct victims. but alas, I digress!

I carry my -75b in C1, safety on. The trigger reach with the hammer back is quite acceptable.

The correct way to hit the slide stop (this is true for any pistol, not just the CZ) is to use the thumb of your weak hand. Drop your empty magazine, seat the fresh mag with the heel of your weak hand, and bingo! Your weak thumb is right there. Give it a try, see how it works.

The way to decock the CZ-75b is to manually lower the hammer with your weak hand while pulling the trigger. It is perfectly safe if you are careful. Make triple-sure that you are pointing the gun in a safe direction. If you carry the -75b cocked and locked, you should rarely or never need to manually decock it.

And there is no need to lower the hammer.
The CZ is more than safe enough to carry as a single action. To carry it otherwise is only to score you with a handicap at the start of a fight.

Man, you Right-handers take so much for granted.... For us lefties without ambi-controls, the DA first shot is at least rewarded with a mag-full of SA to follow!
