CZ75 Omega

Why not contact David at CGW and ask him? (I think the Omega in the 75B and the Omega in the P-07/P-09 might be slightly different, although based on the same design.) I wouldn't be surprised if the same sort of kit is available for the 75B version.

What? You mean just ask the guy who developed the parts kit and makes a living working on the guns? That, sir, is Crazy Talk.

Seriously, though, I do plan to call, I just haven't had time during normal work hours for several weeks. I'll update with the answer as soon as I do.

Glock Pro-Mags make appropriate door stops. The only time I can remember my G-17 choking with known good ammo was with a borrowed Pro-Mag.

I bought a Mec-Gar branded mag for my 75B at my LGS for $30. The LGS also had the CZ factory mags made by Mec-Gar & these were $55.00. The 2 mags were identical, except the cheaper mag had the Mec-Gar brand on it and the more expensive factory mag did not.

The problem with promags is weak springs. The followers are often ok. Replacing the sporting can get you a functional range mag.

Mecgars are great mags for most guns. They are the OEM or the former OEM for a lot of guns but often their followers are different allowing for higher capacity. Some are thinner and some will tip.

The best place to get Mecgars is from Greg Cotes Mecgars there are $20-$23. He ships USPS flat rate so shipping is reasonable.

David Milam (CGW) does answer emails -- and it'll probably take less of his precious time (which he shares readily) and may be less of a burden on him.

I hesitate to loudly say/write "call him" because it's time away from work and phone calls can be lengthy; he has to make a living. But I do say/write it. :(

Dave is great guy and was very patient with me on the phone. I took his advice and ordered the parts for my P-09 . He even told me where I could watch the Video on-line to do the work myself.
