I upgraded the sights and trigger on my 452 Super-Lux. With the aperture sights and 28" barrel, it has an excellent sight radius. The trigger is in the ounces, and really only safe to use off the bench.

22 Mags

I like this thread. I have a fondness for 22 rifles and have bought and tried many in 22 LR and Mag. The one single rifle in 22 Mag that I have that I will not sell is the LUX. I loaded up with 50 grain Federal 22 Mag shells, set the rear sight and took one shot at 50 yards and instantly knew. In a previous trial, I could not even load that same round into a Remington import. This CZ is so sweet to shoot. My hits were so spot dead nuts on I never bothered to keep trying it. I cleaned it up and have it loaded and ready as a "back door" or "back yard" coyote gun. In my neighborhood, there have been coyotes that prey on family pets. Maybe I'm cheating myself out of not shooting it more. I can only say I am very well impressed in every way with my LUX. I liked the factory sights on this gun so much it is one of very few I never had with a scope. I've had many 22 Mag rifles and nearly all of them had scopes. The unscoped LUX is the only one that remains.

My 452 Trainer is the one gun I own that when I miss a shot I'm certain I have only myself to blame. It's nice to not constantly want more from your gun.
