CZ P10c Availability Watch

I got tired of waiting so I bought a grand power K100 last week. I got a very good deal on it. It has a really good trigger pull with a super short reset. I will wait for the full size P10.

Why wait for a Glock copy? Glocks are not hard to find and the aftermarket has any product you would want.

Probably for me glocks are about as ergonomic as a two by four. I use to own a glock 17 and I hated the hump at the bottom of the grip. That said I currently own a glock 30 which fits my hand better. As for CZs I own a few of them because they fit my hand.

They feel that way for me too, but I happen to shoot them very well. Go figure.

That makes it hard for me to try to get invested in a new system.

In short, because a Glock has the ergos of a... Glock. Whereas a CZ has the ergos of a... CZ.

In all honesty, I've tried to like Glocks so many times. As you say, they're everywhere. It would be very convenient to carry a Glock. However, I simply cannot shoot them anywhere near as accurately as other guns. I don't know exactly why, but I'm guessing it has something to do with how it sits in my hand.

Let's be frank, the Glock grip is a different shape than every other manufacturer. Why would I modify my grip to work with a Glock when it already works great with:

- CZ
- Walther
- Smith and Wesson
- H&K
- FN
- etc.

It just doesn't make sense to work on trying to alter the way I shoot in order to make a Glock work, when there are lots of other great, reliable, accurate guns out there.

Now, why do I want the CZ P10? Because it's the size of a Glock 19. One thing I'll say about the Glock 19 is that it is the PERFECT size for a carry gun IMHO. It's just... right.

So, if I can find a gun that has those overall dimensions, but with a handle designed to fit the human hand and a better trigger... well, that's a win.

The grip is actually a bit longer. Not by a lot, but it is.

The P10-C is the size of the Walther PPQ (which I prefer over the p10-C) but a bit longer in length. I was able to stand them up next to each other at LGS to compare. Now the PPQ is not much bigger than my Glock 19 but it is bigger. Those thinking the P10-C is the same size as the Glock 19 may be disappointed.

Same here. Unless I have a particularly good Glock 19 sample I also think the trigger is pretty decent out of the box too though heavier than the latest crop of SF pistols but not heavy enough to make any difference to me when shooting.
