I have both CZ-82 and CZ-83. After I purchased my 1st "Com-Bloc" (the CZ-83), I fell in love with these solid steel cold war relics. I spent 20+ years in the USMC and thought the only great military handgun was the Colt .45 auto. I have since traded my .45 and have acquired 6 assorted former Soviet Union handguns. All are high quality, rugged, easy to field strip, unbelievably accurate and as close to 100% reliable as any auto I've ever fired.
I love my Soviet steel handguns. Of the 6 assorted I own, the 82 and 83 are my most beloved.
9x18 ammo? It'll be around as long as there is a demand...and there is a huge cult following of these superb pistols.
