CZ 75B question

My 2015 P-01 has a roll pin. What I find odd is that the replacement from CGW is also a roll pin. I think the explanation there is that it is heat treated properly to prevent breakage. Maybe CZ started doing the same? We need someone to start dry firing like mad.

Concerning CZ's "polycoat" finish, I believe it was Walt Sherrill who first started advocating the use of Dupli-Color automotive touch-up paint to remedy minor blemishes on this finish (specifically "Scratch Fix", Universal Flat Black, product number NG SF 104). The stuff really does a good job of hiding "minor cosmetic issues".

It sounds like it's the preserving grease they use. Rust is usually a little more stubborn than coming off simply from the presence of CLP.

I agree. As I recall, the color of the preservative is a dark brown. Rust should be a orangish or reddish brown.
