EMP grips

I am wanting to up grade to some extra nice wood grips for my Springfield EMP 9mm. So far all I found is Sarge.....thefinergrain. He has some possibilities but nothing is jumping out at me for now . You have any offerings, I saw nothing for the EMP on your website. Thanks John.

Adam (Olympus) made up some very nice grips for my EMP .40.

Yeah, I don't get a lot of requests for EMP grips, but I've made a few sets. Because EMP grips are mil-spec and because I don't personally own a EMP, I just ask that customers send me their original grips so that I can make sure the new set matches up. Normally, I fit the grips to my own frames to ensure a 100% fit, but since I don't own a EMP, I'm not able to do that. Thus why I need the original grips. I'd be happy to make a set for you though. Swing by website and contact me through that avenue.

And actually if you look at the green set that is right before this last blue and black set, those are for an EMP.

Those are some BEAUTIFUL grips duys! These were found on the Rimfire Central site and are the most unique grips I have ever seen by far!

The grips on the Ruger are probably the wildest thing I've ever seen!

Seen a lot of intricate grips for the Contender/Encore pistols though.

Some grips my dad made for a project 1911. Nice figure and some really nice checkering for an amatuer.

Olympus,
Do you make any slim/slender grips? I have small hands, currently have some Esmeralda slender series grips on my 1911, but as I am about to do a whole bobtail job to it, I figure its time for some new grips.

For something a little different, I like to take old S&W grips and change them to get new life out of them. Target grips are just a little big for my hands so I look for old targets that are in bad shape and remove the checkering and S&W medallions. I sand them down to the size and shape I want then reset the medallions and finish the grips. This makes them smaller than regular targets but bigger than magnas. Works for me.
This first set is a little extreme but shows how a set can be saved. I picked them up at a gun show for $5 because I saw some nice grain in the wood.

These are some K frame targets that the checkering was worn away on the right panel. On a M15-3.

These are some Sile (spelling?) grips that were for a square butt N frame that I changed to round butt and removed the checkering in order to see the grain better.

I've always had a thing for nice looking grips, and there are some really nice ones here.

Here are a few of mine...

Those on the S&W 645 are from Tuscon Custom Grips. These were made specifically to fit my hand. Expensive, and a loooong wait for them, but worth it in the end. On the Model 19 are custom grips by Art Jewel Enterprises. I'm not sure if either are still in business. Rounding out the 3 are Pachmayr American Legends.

The Les Baer is sporting custom presentation grips crafted by gungrips.net . These guys do some really nice work.

And finally, my S&W model 25 is wearing Hogue Customs with rosewood laminate and a walnut butt cap.
