Custom .36 CVA...with pics this time lol

Here is an Idea, I wonder if they make chokes for a .410 shotgun, if so get one then thread that barrel and screw in an XFULL choke. :D How cool would that be? I'm just thinking out of my rear now. Way too much coffee today!

Indy, yeah I will be, just for curiosities sake lol. We're on the same page as far as effective distance but I might be surprised. And deerslayer, definitely a sweet idea, but I think the size difference in the barrels would be too drastic. However I do have a few more ideas in the works lol, I'll post pics as progress continues

Andy....

I am not a fan of Avenging Angels but I do like the work you did on that revolver.

I have two ASM 1860s (CVA) and I have seen an additional one and none of them have the fluted cylinder.

Is this something you added?

Also like the grips.

I made some grips for one of my 1860s from some black lucite plastic.

I see from one of the fotos that I could have spent a liittle more time smoothing and finishing.

Wait a minute....

...I just realized you did not start with an 1860/1.

I should have looked at the size comparison with the ROA.

Sorry guys.

No apologies necessary Doc, and thanks for the compliments. Those grips look awesome by the way, is that the color that the plastic originally was or is that something you did?

Original color

Black lucite plastic.

I got a sheet of white as well.

I turned the two screw thimble from brass stock.

The screw is from a Remington Grip.
