CT Governor to Ban Gun Sales to People on Government Watch Lists

I'm sure the name 'T.Kennedy' on the list was not the name of Senator Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts, but where did we see the Senator had to prove that he was not the person named?

Seems to me, you or I would have to prove we are not the guy on the list, while some folks just get to waltz on and off depending on who they are.
 
I forget the exact decade, 80s I think, but one of Sen Kennedy's bodyguards got "busted" walking into the Capitol with an Uzi under his coat. Yes, the full auto SMG.

You or I would have wound up in Fed prison, but T. Kennedy marched across the street to the Treasury Dept, and no charges were ever filed, as far as we know.
