Maybe a little history is in order. The Ladysmith was originally a mid sized series of revolvers made by S&W to compete in a revolver match held in Ladysmith,England around a century ago. After the Yanks won, S&W brought the line out to capitalize on the victory, like the Creedmore matches of rifle fame. They were top break, six shooters chambered for rounds like the 32 and 38 S&W, with experimental models in 44 Russian and Special as I recall.Like most handguns of the time other than martial ones, grips were usable by folks with all but the smallest hands.
Discontinued in the teens or 20s, the LadySmith names was revived to appeal to the female shooters, but they sell well to small naded folks of any gender/orientation.
Would carrying a weapon with the word "Lady" on it lower your testosterone levels? If so, it's not the gun.....
