Couple new pics, another coming soon

Oleg...is that you in the pix? Also been meaning to ask...what's with the "cornered rat" thing? Does this mean you are dangerous when cornered? :)

You can see me on the home page of http://dd-b.net/RKBA (front) People in posters are friends and neighbors.

"cornered rat" was my original TFL name (still use CR for other forums) but I got better. I keep it in the signature because everyone is so used to calling me "hey, rodent!" I am not dangerous at all, honest :)

Guess I better make it obvious that the visitor has to click on one choice or the other...two people mentioned that recently.

Oleg:

I'm about to ask a potentially dumb question.

Are you that female pictured behind the words, "Self Defense"?

SB...Man.. I'm glad you asked that question...I was this close to asking the same thing. If you keep on clicking you will eventually find what you are looking for on that web site. All will be revealed! :) :) :)

That is Michelle aka Q (my girlfriend). Since I tend to be behind the camera, it is hard for me to be in the pictures at the same time...not to mention that a psycho like me makes a poor mascot. :)

BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!

Oleg got called a girl! Oleg got called a girl! Maybe that's why he carries that "Lady Defender" around the house. :D

Seriously, Oleg, now you know how I feel. I've been called a woman by well-meaning nice TFLers so many times I'm losing count. Then again, I have a pretty ambiguous handle. I didn't think "Oleg" left that much doubt.

As an unfortunate aside, my 20ga lived up to the usual reputation for shoddy quality that "traditionally female" weapons have. A very rough chamber (which I did not notice) prevents extraction completely and the gun is back at Winchester now. I am not impressed by that sort of quality control. I did field-strip the gun before buying but still missed that flaw.

Oleg

PS: In my opinion, NFA of 1934 discriminates against women, as it specifically bans guns most suitable for those of smaller size (such as submachine guns). Bastards!

Ok good, because as I recall, you mentioned yourself on a past Ars thread that you were some kind of "notorious man monkey who's reputation preceded him".

Naturally, when I saw the pretty mug of your GF, I got confused. Surely you can understand. :)

Rat, I'm getting very, very jealous of your ability to produce these beautiful images. Wish you lived around here; I'd spend the next year picking your brain til it itched!

BTW, if you ever do come to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, drop me a line beforehand, and we'll set up a major-duty "Anything you've ever thought of shooting" shoot!

[revision] Er, that's, uh, GUNS you thought of shooting, not TARGETS...! :)

Oleg. A side of you I didn't know about. Amazing work. The one with the guitar and gun is a classic. Only suggestion I could make is to make the gun and guitar more obvious, maybe upward angle. I'd call that one the, "First and a half ammendment." Nice work!!

I REALLY like the second poster, although they are both good. One small suggestion, though: since you use "2nd" in the first line, shouldn't you use "1st" in the second line? Or you could use "second" and "first."
I know it may seem knitpicky, especially since everyone here knows what you are talking about, but your posters aren't only aimed at gun buffs, but also at the gun-ignorant public at large, correct? You want to make sure the Government-school educated/indoctrinated masses get the message.
