Cosmetically challenged pictures.

What's worse....the cheesy fake ivory stocks.....or the rattle-can finish? And yes, that's pitting.

1937 S&W Brazilian Contract .45 ACP.

Makes a good loaner/mountain gun. Put about 200 rounds through it when I first got it, has not got out much since then besides an occasional OC gun while camping.

Hey constantine, how u doing bro? Nice 19 you have there.

Hey! What's up brother?! I'm good man..You know, that same routine I spoke about...lol thanks.

I got it from someone named "Aussie Joe" ;) It's extremely accurate and I have a video on YouTube of me shooting it.

However, it's currently out of commission. I need to get it a part and give it to my gunsmith to do his magic.

I too am wondering what happened to that 1911

I bought this 2nd Mod 44 HE mostly in the white. Previous owners had cut the factory 6.5" barrel to 5" and for unknown reasons started removing the finish. In the process the side plate was badly treated, leaving the tell-tale rounded edge.

The picture actually does more justice to the gun than it deserves. The blue job is my poor attempt at repeated applications of cold blue.

I added the reproduction stocks and the Pachmyar grip adapter, then tried it with a duplicate of the original 44 Special load...245g RNL @ 750 fps. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it shot.
