COPS TV Show - Some Disturbing Attitudes

#1. Weapons + controlled substances + no ccw = Jail everytime.

#2. I agree. [imho]

#3. If you're stuiped enough to be playing with a firearm out in a public place and seen doing it, expect what this person recieved as far as being approached. [if you don't agreee i'll let you be the first one to do the drivers door approach.. :)] If you want to "play" with your guns do it at home, or on the gun range, not in your car! On a call such as this officer saftey is a concern as well as public saftey.

I don't have anything to say about this topic at least anything about what the cops on the show said. There is an episode of COPS I saw that was filmed in Fort Worth that I thought was great. An officer responded to a call from a seasoned citizen regarding that she thought someone was breaking into her garage(garage separate from the house.)When the officer arrived and got out of his car shots were fired, he immediately found out it was the lady shooting at her garage. Now, more officers present they checked out the garage and went into the lady's house. The officers found nothing, but then one of the officers asked, where do you keep the ammo? The lady said, in the drawer in the bedroom. So they went into the bedroom and the officer proceeded to reload the lady's gun for her and put it in her drawer. I don't watch the show anymore, but I thought that was a great episode.

Mike H,
"[H]ow about some firearms laws standardized on those in Texas."

Thanks for the compliment, but I believe Vermont has better "carry" laws than Texas. (It hurts to say that! ;) )

But to put American back on the right track, let's all get together, from ALL the states, and standardize the laws in accordance with the Second Amendment -

"... shall not be infringed."

That is what we should be fighting for instead of giving away our RKBA slowly, compromise after compromise.

No game, no war, no goal of any kind can be won by playing strictly defense.

Those who want to play "defense only", "Welcome, friend." But do not disparage those of us who play "offense" as well as "defense".

A movement requires many different voices - Colin Powell

Either you believe in the Second Amendment or you don't.
Stick it to 'em! RKBA!

They broke no firearms laws in NM (unless they were stoned or dealing).

I saw the SKS incident, they were irresponsible. (I saw this episode.)

I saw the third one too. Initially reported as a 'pointing at cars/people incident' when that was not the case. The man did nothing illegal or even improper. IMO feet were put into mouths. For the camera's sake or for general JBTdness, I don't know.

Didn't a swat raid a wrong house once that didn't get put on COPS?
