So, what if Mexico won't cooperate. They don't cooperate in a lot of fugitive cases because of many varied reasons.

Just send the U.S. Marshals down and get hime. Heck, a case like that even made it up to the U.S. Supreme Court.
 
I think most people simply want to see Mexicans coming here DOCUMENTED and LEGALLY like all other immigrants. I don't give a crap if the immigrant is from India, Russia, Germany, Mexico, Austrlia or Iceland, as long as they come here legally. Just because they share a border with us, does not give them the right to walk across it when they see fit.

I would think if China were bringing their citizens over on Navy ships and dropping them off in international waters with rafts to take them to shore, we would rightfully see that as an invasion. However, when the Mexican government prints guides to making it to America, those people are just poor people looking for work, and they are to be helped.

And this whole 'they are here for jobs that no one will take' is crap, while we have an unemployment rate. Maybe when all Americans have jobs, we can concern ourselves with providing jobs for illegals.

As far as an American being extradited, he should have thought about that before he killed the police in Mexico. I'd send someone to ensure he was getting a fair hearing, and if so, then he's gonna have to deal with the penalties. And yes, if the Mexicans wanted to send someone to ensure that this guy was getting a fair trial, I'd let them.

You have to have some control over major economic factors in any country, and cheap labor being dumped into the mix is one of them.

I don't see all the controversy over this. Why is there such a push to allow/deter immigration from Mexico, Haiti, etc. into this country, considering people from every other country in the world except Cuba are similarly restrained from entering the U.S.?
 
Anyone who loves these illegals, Mexico in this case, got a pretty young female in YOUR familiy I can take to Mexico. You're pathetic. This guys family, if still in U.S. should be publicly executed in that maggots stead. Got to start the message.( what?? they'll close the border to U.S., please do!, they'll really hurt U.S.). As far as justice being dealt in Mexico, that's a bunch of crap. Those people are backwards stupid idiots....if they weren't they wouldn't have the murderous drug trade and corrupt politicians that they have. Yes, there are good people there, but very few...I don't know how to explain, it ain't like it used to be. They went from acceptable to imitations of our own crack headed monkeys in one generation. I would imagine it's a result of too much too quick. Just my humble opinion.
 
Most Mexican workers are on my understanding hard working and very few break the law (other than by their very presence on US soil).

The problem is, those defending the illegals don't live down here where we are flooded with them. There are hunting arras where it is hazardoudous to one's health because the coyotes bringing in the illegals are now shooting at people.
There is a nice lake about 2 miles from the border than has some fairl decent bass fishing. If I had a dollar for every illegal i saw sneaking in over the road going to that lake, i could make a pretty decent down payment on a new truck. I shoot with some of the Border Patrol agents at my local range, and they told me that in an 8 month period, they caught and arrested over 300,000 illegals and that was just a drop in the bucket. That doesn't count the drug smugglers.
Talk to the people who live near the border and see how they feel about the several hundred thousand a year crossing their property, getting shot at by them, having their homes broken into, yet you bleeding hearts say what good people they are and how hard working. they are.
I have no problem with those that come over to work LEGALLY, All others are CRIMINALS and should be treated as such.
Round 'em up and ship 'em back.

Excuse me, that is just flat out racism. I happen to have Hispanic heritage in my blood and I'm not going to tolerate people saying that very few of Mexicans are good people. MrBill, what was the point of your post? It didn't make a shred of sense to me.

What should someone who lives near the Mexican border expect. It hasn't been a safe place for over 100 years. I really wonder how the Mexicans felt when we invaded their border not that long ago. Manifest destiny, what a silly concept, was this justified? Mexicans will never like Americans due to the fact that we invaded their country and took their land. All Americans are immigrants in the first place. What happened to the original indigenous people of this land? You can't ignore history.

It's infuriating, but it's also the soverign country of Mexico's right to disallow extradition to the US without a guarentee that the death penalty won't be applied. I frankly don't have a huge problem with taking the DP off the table.

We have a pretty involved extradition treaty with Mexico. After the way we spat over it with the SCOTUS approval in US v Alvarez, I don't blame 'em for being a little suspicious of us.

Remember friends-- these treaties work FOR us, as well. Would you not want the US government to fight for your rights under the US Constitution and treaties, if Mexico wanted to try you in their courts?!? You're damn skippy you'd be looking for some protection.
 
the mexican government is so corrupt and full of crap that its not even funny. they totally support thier citizens sneaking into America and of course sending those dollars back to the homeland, but they want to pitch a fit when one of thier people commits a murder here and gets the death penalty.
