A good buddy of mine got a M1 Garand from the CMP. Liked it so much he got the M1 Carbine, 1917 Enfield, and his latest is the 03A3 Springfield.
And I can say from shooting all of his guns except the '03, they are very good. Not worn out pieces of junk but still quite good fighting guns.
And that M1 Carbine, at 25 yards, consistantly picked off coke caps! It was that accurate.
