Convince Me - S&W 686

I really like the gp-100 series guns, esp. the 3" fixed sighted ones, but an older 586/686 is simply a better gun.
If comparing apples to apples (New 686 to new ruger GP), the comparison would be a lot closer.
There's nothing wrong with the ruger, though.
Look for a good used 686.

I carry my 686 Snubby both on and off duty. I've found nothing I wish to replace it with to this point.
