I just hope those LEO's involved really think about what they are doing. We've had enough Randy Weaver's for one lifetime.
Some will, and some won't. Problem arises from the following. On which side will the preponderence lie?
For myself, I don't know. There is the following to think on though. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a large number of current police officers are ex military. In the military, they swore an oath to "uphold and defend THE CONSTITUTION ...". Civilians holding elective and appointed office did also, and the funny thing seems to be the following, so far as I can tell.
Based on the past performance of the groups involved, it seems that THE MILITARY takes it's oath a lot more seriously than do any number of ELECTED OFFICE HOLDERS. So far as I know, while I have no doubt that at times, the military literally tore out it's hair, perhaps with good reason, respecting actions of The Duly Constituted Civil Authority, it stayed in it's encampments or bases while so doing, and in the history of this country, has never attempted to overturn the actions of the above mentioned Duly Constituted Civil Authority.
