concealment FAIL

I live in a small mountian town in northern Oregon, only about 3,500 people. Although we'er supposed to conceal our guns we don't really make much of an effort, might have something to do with the fact that over 1,200 of us are armed on a regular basis. Also the sheriff don't seem to mind a bit,he says "It makes my job easier with everybody packin';it keeps the scum out". Though there have been a few times when I was in Portland and forgot that concealment is a big deal there. No one ever called the police, but I could tell some folks were a little on edge. These days I carry my Springfield XD40sc in a custom made in-side the pants holster and my S&W 640-3 magnum in an ankle holster, so concealment is no longer a real issue.

when I was a boy.....

I rode motorcycles.
I wore a black leather jacket, and underneath a Jackass (now called Galco) shoulder holster.
Eventually the barrel of my 4" stainless Security Six poked out under my arm (discovered after numerous 'funny' looks one night at a movie theater).

Nowadays my clothing shows a distinct gun imprint after time, and some garment have holes worn in them.
Oh well.

I suggest putting the patch on the inside of the clothing where it will take the wear instead of the actual clothes.
If it wasnt cleat, thats what I meant.

It would kind of defeat the purpose on the outside, unless your a little kid and are hiding your Matty Mattel derringer behind one of the patches on your knee. Even then, I used the belt buckle myself. :D
