Concealed Carry (non-conventional ways)

I realize this won't work for everybody but my father in law has an artifical leg and rigged a holster to the leg post and carries his Barretta in it.

I have been asking around, and cannot seem to come up with any answers on how i can carry my main concealed, and my BUG in non-conventional ways. (I don't want the criminals to know I have the guns, and I don't like feeling uncomfortable.)

I don't know what you consider "non-conventional" but if you don't want the criminals or anyone else to know you carry then just do what so many of us do - quality belts, quality holsters, and a wardrobe that breaks up the outlines. There's also a wide array of t-shirts with integral holsters, belly bands, ankle holsters, and other products that have been mentioned already.
IMO, you also really need to balance access with concealability. It doesn't do you a bit of good to carry something if you can't get to it when you need it.

But i do want a BUG,i just haven't figured out how to carry one yet.Im still having issues finding room for an extra mag on my belt.I find a good knife more important than a spare mag,but thats still under consideration.

I would reconsider your position on a spare mag, it is the weakest link in any automatic and the thing most likely to fail or cause trouble. Also, for those that don't feel the need for spare ammo, consider this - should you have to discharge your weapon are you then going to be sitting around with an empty or partially empty gun waiting for the cavalry to arrive? If I have to use my gun, if I haven't had to reload during the fight, you can bet I'm going to reload after the smoke clears. I want to be fully loaded and ready to reengage should the need arise. Carrying a BUG as a New York reload may be a solution to that issue or if you use it, may put you in the same position. ALWAYS CARRY SPARE AMMO!!!

Non-conventional ways?

Well, there's duct tape...

Hot glue...

Contact cement...

Clenched firmly between your buttocks...

Ratholed...

The possibilities are endless.

What, like Robocop's thigh holster?

10 points for ang4me the only post that had real merit here.I have to start laughing how whatever someone is using is the best thing since apple pie and the way you should go.The only other positive post was the one that stated to just remember what ever he decided on to makes sure it had a qaulity holster and belt.
We try to make to much of things, keep it simple, keep it basic.Simplicity works! nothing beats a quality holster and belt the biggest and heaviest gun can become manageable and tolerable to wear thru out the day,and depending on your climate zone and your pistol you dress accordingly,it's that simple,in doing so the weapon disappears into the contours of the wearer, whats left is the boredom of daily practice that we hate as it seems to become redundant but necessary if were going to become and stay proficient in being able to bring the weapon into play from it's hiding place. That's it Folks. There's no secret place that you can hide it that the bg wont think about to look for it,that has nothing to do with it?he's not going to look for it! As long as it's concealed properly he has no idea where exactly it is until your going for it, and if you did your job practicing over and over, making your draw like clock work,by the time he see's where your going for you should be breaking from the holster already,That being said I wear Cross draw with my bug on my ankle and I practice, practice, practice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 methods of discrete carry

Pocket carry is easy with something like a Ruger LCP or P3AT. I like the Desantis holster. Pants a little loose fitting and an item like Tic-Tacs, or a small hand sanitizer to break the outline.

The Smartcarry works. I bought one and carry a Kahr PM45 wearing nothing except sweat shorts and a t-shirt. That PM45 is very concealed, but access isn't bad (ie... not slow) with the flexible waist.

I also carry just to the right of the zipper (appendix carry?) with a Kydex clip-on holster and something with a short grip like the Glock 26 or Kahr PM9, works well and is very concealed under an untucked shirt.

You could put a pistol in your hand, and put a paper bag over it.:p It worked for Clark Grizwald on National Lampoons Vacation.
On a more serious note. The cell pall holster could be an option.
