Concealed Carry etiquette

This is more like when you have a friend at the office and every so often she wears spandex. No one tells her that it doesn't look good on her and it's out of fashion and you feel like you should tell her....

Or you go on an outing to the lake and your buddy shows up on the dock wearing a Speedo.

You just gotta tell em...

By the way, it was an outdoor seating place. I sat where I can see all who walk up to the hole in the wall cafe. (Not walk in cafe)

Constantine, as barret_munkey was nice enough to point out, I was just stating and explaining my own lifelong preference and practice, whether seated indoors or out.

As a native NY'er, I love to argue but hate to fight, and I know the difference. I'd be pleased to "discuss" this kind of stuff with you or most any TFL member over a beer, but since nowadays coffee is my strongest beverage, it might have to be over cafe y puros at one of those sidewalk cafes!

And while we were sitting there ("Continental style", I would hope, both facing the same way) you might surmise that I was armed, but you would not know, even though I happen to be licensed by your state as well as my own.

If I had any kind of acquaintance that interacted with frequently and I had even the slightest notion that he owns guns,. shoots or carries, we'd be discussing it.

It wouldn't be like me at all to NOT be discussing guns with someone who is a "gun guy." As such, it wouldn't be like breaking the ice and letting him know for me... because we'd have long since discussed it.

Not unusual for me. I wouldn't consider this guy a friend. He's just a guy I see a lot because we live in the same town and move in the same circles. Grocery store, gas station, coffee stand, dropping the kids off at school, UPS store, etc. I know a lot of folks in that category. But I discuss my interest in firearms with very few. I also discuss politics with very few. Or Religion. I try to live my life so that no one can "peg" me as anything, unless I decide to tell them. I find that it uncomplicates my life.

Constantine and anyone else from south florida we should meet up one day for drinks and a trip to the range! Constantine I rarely go to miami any more the traffic is horrible, and our city is littered with bad people, I stay home at work the gym and school most the time. I go to la fitness as well but I have never seen any such signs. Is there there any proper ediquett to carry in such places. Im thinking about buy a conceals planner to carry to job interviews and other proffesional settings

Yeah...we can't drink anyways while armed.....Outside the house! ;)

Kidding....kinda.

Sounds good, any range! As long as it's not "Trail Glades" :barf::barf:

These signs are starting to pop up a little more...Kind of upsetting me.

Oh, funny....about the topic at bay. I saw a big bad biker, looking like someone out of "Sons of Anarchy" I have the highest level of respect for the guy. But he was wearing a fanny pack in that same mall. I looked at him, he made eye contact with me. I smirked and nodded "Nice holster" and he laughed. (Yes, I was nervous saying that for a split second)

Turn him on to SmartCarry. Much better and more comfortable than ankle carry. With J frame he should also be checking out pocket carry. Mika makes great pocket holsters.

ive going as of late to this range out by dolphin mall aces shooting, i think expensive the charge by the hour, if i recall glades didnt charge by the hour. were do you normally go to?

Ace's charges an arm and a leg, and they have unnecessary attitude problems. lol Trail Glades is $9.00 and you shoot all day. But 1 shot every 5 second. Only their targets, no silhouettes...the list goes on of "don't" and "no's"

I go to Henry's in Homestead or Big Al's in Broward County ;) No rules.

I am scratching my head here. I don't see why it shouldn't be mention. Not like its state secret. Might just open up a new avenue of conversation, and who knows, perhaps an agreed upon appointment to meet at a firing range together.

How much does this range in broward charge? Constantine pm lets see if we can get some more guys from tfl to go and well go shooting and for some drinks. My bad for the late reply been taking finals in school no time for anything:mad:
