Shafter, as you have seen from previous posts, the ballistics of a .44 C&B revolver loaded with a conical bullet are very very close to ballistics of a .45 LC revolver.
Bootsie's experiments show that there's only a 4% reduction in velocity as compared to a cartridge.
So if you load a bullet of a same weight into your C&B revolver, on top of the same powder charge, you'll be good to go.
