Now if only i could get the guy who bought my 6" Trooper Mk5 to sell it back to me. M-C, if you're reading this, I'M DEAD SERIOUS ABOUT GETTING IT BACK...

Colt Trooper. . .you must be joking. I would not dirty up my collection with it.

Tell you what I would do. Let me know the address of the person who has this gun and I will PERSONALLY deliver the message the gun is unsafe and in need of disposal. I will take care of everything and you won't have to worry about a thing.

What are friends for. . .anyway?

Truth be told, I would love to have one. I have only handled a Python once and I have never forgotten how smooth the action was. I made a mistake not buiying it.:(

I have one, Colt Trooper MHIII, combat sights, nickle plated,Bianchi #5BL holster, 4" barrel, I bought it new. It was a hunting carry gun and had seen very little use.
I would trade for a NIB S&W 21 4", or a 629 4", or just buy it a Sheels, and I will ship.

I have a Trooper MkIII, 6". Of the 25 revolvers my wife and I own, it may be the strongest - and I own four N-frame S&W .357s.
It's a massive, almost brutish gun with a thick heavy barrel, top strap, cylinder, etc. I'd have no qualms about using it for a blunt weapon. I can't see ever breaking it.

I have been a longtime fan of the Colt Three-Fifty-Seven Revolver. Especially with the heavy tapered 6" barrel. Mine was made in 1955. I won it at auction in 2019. I also won the Colt Detective Special (mfd 1969) at the same auction. I drained my piggy bank, but it was worth it.

I had a Colt Trooper Mk III, 6", .357. Was a very nice gun, it was a satin type SS. Back around 1992 or so I paid a whopping $175.00 for it used (like new), at the Kittery Trading Post here in Maine. Sure wished I had kept it.

I think the gun the OP was interested in was either bought or not bought over11 years ago.
