Colt LE6920

Just posted about my 6920 in another thread.

I have one and LOVE IT! I went with the Burris prism sight and have had great results with the combo. The Burris is just over $300, it is illuminated, and it can be used as a 3 power scope as well. Pimped out with MOE Flat Dark Earth furniture. If I had to pick one rifle, to use to the exclusion of all else, I'd have a hard time choosing between the 6920 and my SOCOM 16.

im such a compulsive shopper, just pulled the plug again and ordered the aimpoint pro. Hope this dont backfire and bite me in the ass

Posting to watch this thread. I just bought the LE 6920 Tracking says I will have it next Tuesday. I’m going to stick with the irons for a while, but I am going to put an optic on it. No idea on the optic yet, hence watching this thread. A thought for the future is to remove the carry handle, install an optic and a folding rear site.

Why two months? Took less than 24 hours from the time I clicked on the “buy it now” button to shipping. Tracking says it will be delivered next Tuesday. That’s 7 days, including weekend days, from buying it and having it.

The 6920 is a SOLID choice, as is the Aimpoint. I have a Comp ML3 that rides in a LaRue mount and it is a great combination.

Hows this compare to the Colt LE6920??? Place i ordered from says itll take like 3-4 months to receive it, so im kinda second guessing waiting that long and just picking an ar up from wholesale or cablas. what do you guys think??

colt is my first choice mainly because its who makes the militarys. ive been doing more searching and it seems every colt, bravo company and spikes tactical rifle is on back ordered. how do you feel about that S & W i posted? or should i just force myself to be patient and wait till they start becoming more available

You might try Atlantic Firearms. Seems like last time I looked, that page said out of stock. Doesn’t say in or out now. Down the page and there is a place where you can inquire if it is in stock. Steep price, but Atlantic Firearms is good to deal with.

G&R Tactical is supposed to have some in stock sometime this month. They are also good to deal with and a good price.
