It was a trade so it's hard to determine exactly what the value was for the Savage. I got $500 in trade value for the Savage and a mid 80's Charter Arms Pathfinder (22). I had $185 in the Savage and $180 in the Pathfinder. I added some cash to get a mint S&W model 18-3.

I don't often have seller's remorse, but I replaced the Savage today. The last one was a 1917 made in 1920. I prefer the looks of the 1917 over the 1907. But the price was right in my price point @ $250.

Serial number dates the pistol to 1913.
