Clinton's most lasting "legacy", THE MISUSE OF A CIGAR. They were made to be enjoyed, either by smoking or chewing or both, that's it.

In the history books it will probably say "Comrade Clinton led the victorious fight against capitalist warmongers and people who believed in the outdated concept of personal freedom". Or if we had it our way the books would say "Traitor, Liar, and Oppressor", but I doubt it.

I think that Herr Klinton should be more concerned with Judgement Day than his corrupt legacy. Thats one event that the truth will come out at and all of his treasonous deceit and lies will be open for all to see. He is going down in history as a cruel joke and his so called legacy is that, he's the biggest joke ever pulled on a nation.

Clinton is similar to Harding in having a scandal ridden (both in graft and sexual morals) administration with no lasting legislative achievements. Right now, I cannot even remember Harding's first name and I bet it will be the same with Clinton as new generations come along.

I feel quite certain that there are numerous little "Clinton legacies" running around in the world right now on two legs. ;)

Seriously, I am of the opinion that his legacy can't possibly be known until we get him out of office, preferrably before a war starts. Our military is in the worst shape it's been in since just prior to WWII (yes, even worse than when Carter was in office), and the outlook isn't great.
 
In a few years (more if Gore wins) after the dust settles his legacy will be:
The President who divided and polarized the Untied States of America into dissenting factions and thus destroyed the concept of loyalty, unity and the promise of the American Dream. He sold the country mediocrity under the guise of progress, at the highest tax rate in history.
