cleaning rod?

why? i thought rod is 1 piece if there are more than 1 pieces of rod attached to each other
that whether handle can be detached from rod piece has no bearing on the definition..

A one-piece rod is a rod that is one-piece, irrespective of whether the handle is detachable or not. Multi-piece rods are commonly called jointed rods. I don't know how to further explain this nor do I think it matters a whole lot. Use any straight cleaning rod with due care (avoiding contact by the rod with the crown of the muzzle during the stroke) and all will be ok. No need to complicate a fairly simple procedure any further.

Thought you wanted to know what rod is best. I feel the Dewey ONE PIECE ROD is a good rod. Just tried to help with the post. It is what it is , a one piece coated rod. Just ask your local gun shop the question.
