cleaning/lube for condo/apt dwellers??

Just throw them in the dish washer, (heavy pot and pan cycle, and don't forget to fill the spot remover, so as to have a squeaky clean gun) no chemicals involved !! :rolleyes:
 
M-Pro7 works well. If I am going to use a heavy solovent like Butche's Bore Shine I use it to clean at the range, so that I do not have to use it inside the apartment. I do a quick clean with solovent on all of my guns before I leave the range with them.
 
+1 on Ballistol for enclosed spaces, it's medicinal mineral oil.

However, Hoppes does give you a good buzz though :D.
 
No scent solvent

Hoppes makes a no scent solvent that is much more expensive than the regular # 9, but you don't need much of it. Another is INVISIBLE GUN that seems to be amonia based so you want to be sure to oil it after cleaning.

I live in a small apartment and cleaning is no problem. I have a shooting tarp that came with my range bag which I lay out on the floor and sit on it. The fumes are no problem because I use sentless hopps.
