Clean with Tampax

You don't need a rod for it either, a piece of string or fishing line of sufficient test will work. Two pieces allows you to pull it back and forth in the bore.
------------------------------------------------

Isnt there a string already on it?

Don't know if this would work but here is a quick idea.

10 gauge = super heavy
12 gauge = heavy
16 gauge = medium/heavy
20 gauge = medium
28 gauge = medium/light
410 = light

note: for 8 gauge (if anybody still has one of these) i would probablly just roll up a maxipad and tie some fishing line through it.

**** If you actually take this serious and plan on using please take a picture and post and I am sure Rich and the guys would use it in their magazine for tactical alternatives when out in the BUSH (lol!!!)***********

The *original* boresnake, eh? Not worth going through checkout with them.

Original??

Uhh, I don't think so... ;)

410 married 10 gauge...

...They had a very "short" honeymoon!

:D

Well if your gun is like mine it is outa commission 25 days outa 27....And I am not gonna go to the store and buy them either..

dad23honu,

Here is another version of your signature poem/tongue-twister:

I'm not a pheasant plucker.
I'm a pheasant plucker's son.
I'm only plucking pheasants
'til the pheasant plucker comes.

It takes practice to say it quickly without error. Good luck.

Will my shotgun tend to malfunction one week out of the month? Worse, will it be cranky, and unpredictable? And will I experience water-weight buildup that could contribute to rust and pitting?

Ok, my wife just caught me taking one of her rocket launcher's, I told her it was for my shotgun, she asked me if I was ok? I said yes, I explained what I was goin to do with it.
And then she ask's, " Do you know how to use it" I just walked a way:o
