You don't need a rod for it either, a piece of string or fishing line of sufficient test will work. Two pieces allows you to pull it back and forth in the bore.

Don't know if this would work but here is a quick idea.
10 gauge = super heavy
12 gauge = heavy
16 gauge = medium/heavy
20 gauge = medium
28 gauge = medium/light
410 = light
note: for 8 gauge (if anybody still has one of these) i would probablly just roll up a maxipad and tie some fishing line through it.

Will my shotgun tend to malfunction one week out of the month? Worse, will it be cranky, and unpredictable? And will I experience water-weight buildup that could contribute to rust and pitting?
