Choosing between glock 19 or sig p320c

I'm not a Glock fan in the least..But I do own 1, a Glock 19. It truly is the best all around 9mm. Accessories are plenty and mags are inexpensive, especially if you get the Magpul mags or the ETS mags. Both mags are excellent and around $15 each.

As for the SIG P320, I've owned 3 of them and have hated every one of them. The trigger is overrated, mags are not inexpensive. It honestly does not do anything better than a stock Glock 19.

mags are not inexpensive

This is a good point, Sig mags are twice as expensive as Glock mags. If you're an obsessive compulsive mag collector (like me), then that can be an added expense.

Ok, after trying both, I decided on the Sig. Both were tried by myself, wife, and daughter. They both preferred the Sig and the Glock would constantly jam with my daughter shooting it. I would chalk that up to limp wristing since she is on the thin side, but that was the major factor for me.
I did find that right away I was accurate with the Glock, so no complaints there. The Sig took a little getting used to for me to be accurate.
We all agreed that the Sig felt sturdier, maybe due to the weight, not sure, but fired with no jams for all of us.
So, no personal complaints about the Glock, just the jamming stuck in my head.
I also picked up a Ruger LCR in .22. Small caliber but something we can all shoot easily, inexpensive ammo, and I think a good backup.

Thanks for your help guys. I hope I did not offend anyone who recommended the Glock. I may still get one of these in the future.

I don't understand why Sig used a hammer fired frame (high bore axis) for a striker fired gun.

Low bore axis is one of the main reasons for going to striker fired.

Glock 19 ftw.

I know I'm late to this party, but thought I would offer my thoughts anyway.
I have the Glock 19, Gen 4 and love it. Having said that, I also have a Sig (different model, P229), and love shooting it as well. Both are GREAT handguns in my opinion. I would say either would have been a good handgun to own. Your decision to go with the Sig is well founded given the circumstances.
I would be willing to bet you will end up with the Glock as an addition to your handguns sooner or later, just because. ;)

Funny you say that, other than the jamming with my daughter, I thought it was great, point and shoot. You are probably right, once she gets used to her sig, we will probably add the glock

For me the G19, mostly because I'm invested in mostly Glocks and 1911's. I like the huge after market support and having two platforms to concentrate on.

Since this is your first handgun the Sig P320 does have a following and is said to be a fine firearm.

This is kind of irrelevant at this point, but I was in the same boat about a year ago, except my choices were a G19 and VP9.

One of the things that pushed me to the H&K was the warranty.

Maybe Glock owners can correct me but it appeared the Glocks only had a one-year warranty.

Reviving an older thread of mine. I was close to buying the glock 19 gen 4 for $550 new, I still like it, and it's bugging me.

The store also had the S&W M&P shield 9 for $300, tempting but the capacity is 7 rounds.

I was also reading about the Grand Power K100 but there isn't much on it. Looks good though, I may look into that one also.

As between the p320 and the G19, you're going to have a hard time going wrong. If you find that you don't like the one that you chose, I doubt you'll have trouble selling it.

Maybe I missed it in the thread, but did you ever get around to renting these? If so, what were your impressions?
