Oris,
A bit of a misunderstanding. Nowhere did I claim that the Eagle was better BECAUSE it had a decocker. I was just pointing out to Daedalus the differences between the two pistols.
Just so we understand each other. I own four autos without decockers. Two, my CZ-75B, & EAA Witness 10mm are traditional exposed hammer S/A-D/A. I have no problem carrying either one "cocked & locked", but personally will not manually drop the hammer with one in the pipe. The other two are S/A Only Stricker fired. A HS2000, and an early AMT Backup. Both have 1911 style grip safeties & a secondary safety. Again, I have no problem carrying either one of these "cocked & locked".
So, as you can see, a decocker is not a prerequisite for any of my purchases.
