I bought about 100# of "dead" tracer bullets years ago. A long cold winter's day spent weight sorting a few hundred at a time results in decent practice ammo good for about 300 yards.
"I don't know about anyone else but my bullets ALWAYS HIT AT their POI!"
It would seem to me that the desired outcome would be to have the bullet hit the point of aim. For sure if you are hunting and want some meat in the pot you gotta do that.
I purchased a rifle that was declared the 'UGLIST'. my first consideration was the sum of all the parts but on the outside chance the builder knew more than all the reloaders on three different forums I took the rifle to the range with 12 different loads of 10 rounds each, I used different cases etc.
I had excellent groups but all of the groups did not hit the same hole, I did not have any flyers and no group larger than a quarter. Some of the groups shared the same hole but I used one point of aim, I never adjusted the scope. I decided to apply the leaver policy, I lefter the way I founder.
...and then there was the guy that missed the humor, and did not notice that the joke was that bullets always tend to hit the target at their point of impact.
Probably got all torqued up in the exchange rate, I dunno.
