Cheap 22 Handgun

P22

I do not recommend either of them but bear in mind I have no personal experience with them.
.Don't knock it until you try it...all of them might have been dirty as all heck...could have been the gun. I just don't think you should have an opinion on something you've never had. I have had two p22's, because I love them! Very comfortable, reliable, and accurate. The only round that wouldn't always function properly was the Thunderbolts. Everything else would run through it with no problems, I usually used the CCI LR. First one I bought for $279 NIB and the second used from a buddy and for $150 and nice shape I couldn't pass it up.

I was looking at a buyers guide at Walmart today (I call it the men's section), while my wife emptied my wallet. :( They had a .22 single action that looked a lot like the Ruger Single-Six. I believe it was imported by Taylors. It was priced at about $299. I am hoping to find one I can look at in person.

Pistol

Beretta Neos, great little pistol. Ugly - but works fantastic. Very accurate, very reliable. Mine had a quite bad trigger from the factory. Beretta fixed it and it's pretty remarkable in function and accuracy now. I've owned several Rugers, S&W 22A, Browning that come immediately to my aged mind. None were more accurate and more reliable than this ugly Neos. Controls are well laid out, has outstanding magazines, shoots anything I've tried to run. Just ugly and kinda cheesy looking but it does work - very well.
