Charter Arms Pitbull: Yes, No, Maybe?

I think they are nifty guns!!! I just sort of shy away from them due to the... spotty... reputation of Charter Arms manufacturing! However, I've heard it's improved in recent years.

I have a Bulldog Pug in 44 spl and I have posted on here many times that it has worked very well for me.The only issue I have encountered is prolonged firing causes it to overheat and the cylinder will then drag.30 or 40 shots in a very short time.Its not made for that.I personally think that if you have gotten yourself in that situation you needed to have brought more men!
 
A friend of mine used to have one, and if the ammo didn't have a heavy crimp, the recoil would back the bullets out of the case and bind the cylinder
