I don't have a permit to carry, I imagine they answer this in the class.

What would the police do if your concealed weapon came out somehow and someone saw it, and called the police?

I imagine it has happened somewhere.

Since you don't have a permit, they could arrest you for concealed carry without a permit. With a permit, in most states, absolutely nothing would happen if you have the permit.

Brandishing only applies when a firearm is used to intimidate or threaten. A holstered firearm, absent of any other intimidating or threatening action or statement, is not by itself intimidating or threatening.

Open carry IS legal in NC, but is subject to some strange and varying restrictions. Better check the law there, too.

I know the law that deals with it. Nothing would happen. Open carry is legal everywhere concealed carry is and a couple extra places actually.
