CCW Carry Suggestions

I live in Conroe so I know what it's like in Houston in the summer.I doubt that you will find a really good way to carry a full size or near full size pistol while wearing shorts and a t-shirt.If you want to stay with an auto you might want to get one of the Kahr's,or other small single stack 9mm or 40S&W.I can carry my glock23 under a t-shirt but it's in a iwb holster in jeans.Most of the time I carry a S&W j-frame 38sp+p,just because it is comfortable.
 
1. yes i know 6o'clock isnt optimal...but better a hurt back than a strong back in a coffin...i carry in my cargo shorts pocket as much as possible.

2. yea the double stack is a little wider, but still not quite as wide as my SCXD40 and not nearly as heavy as my single stack full size 1911.

3. i will see how this holster works out in the mean time and over time until i find the perfect gun to carry i just have another excuse to keep looking, and since the perfect gun doesnt exist... ;)
 
I carry at the 3:00 position with a tucker leather "tuckable" holster. It works well. I just wear cargo shorts so I can wear a belt.
