CCI primers

Thanks for all that, I just started using the large primers (.45) ACP head.

So the 4 tubes are new. I'll be checking them soon and see if one is worse than the others.

Dillion was not helpful when I called. They said their spec was .2100

Called Dillon, they said the old CCI primers were out of round
Yep..same thing happend to me about 10 yrs ago when I got my first 550B. Winchester's feed just fine, never had one stick and they have a reputation for being a tad hotter than other brands so all my loads are based on their use. Rod

I was told the same thing 21 years ago from Dillon, Went with Winchester and have never had an issue since. I do have some CCi left and use them individually to replace a screwed up primmer i.e. sideways / upside down that does happen occasionally, but not often.

OK, My dealer rotates his primers. Winchester, Remington, CCI.
I'll have to keep an eye out.

Mail order is too expensive, they have some hazard fee added on.

The good news with Winchester primers (at least here in Louisville KY) is that they were generally available during the last 8 years unpleasantness, when all other makes were unobtainable. Rod
