Cast bullets

Not interested in casting my own yet. Where could I get .313 bullets for under 20 cents each and reasonable shipping to Hawaii?

Under $.20 will be hard.

Could try a small batch of these to see if it works.

Or you could look into paper patching .311s:cool:

Thanks. Perhaps I'll try some of their .312 bullets. I wonder if they make them .312 then resize them for the .311 and .309?

Unfortunately, Bear Tooth is backlogged for 20+ weeks.

I was finally able to hit paper at 20 grains so I'll start around 15 next time. At that amount, I think I heard it smacking the cardboard.

So far, didn't see much difference between the WIN and Norma case with accuracy. What's weird is that I could not hit the target with the Lapua 123 gr that I had success before. I blame Trump. :D

Cast Bullets - Successful Results

I had some success at the range with the blue 200 gr cast bullets. I seemed to have good success with 17, 18, and 19 gr Reloader15 powder. I think I'll do more of those next time in half grain increments. There was hardly any recoil with the round making a pop sound instead of a bang, probably going subsonic. I was afraid to try the 15 gr bullets cause it seemed like the 16 was blowing back some hot powder with burn marks on the necks. The red dot scope is zerod for the jacketed bullets, and these were actually a foot lower than the target I was aiming at above.
