Case forming 7.65 Argentine from 30-06. Which die works?

ICAWW: That is the reason they call it 7.65mm53. If the bullet was 30 cal/308 they would call it the 7.62mm53.

Yes, correct.

But somewhere, but my buddy though he read somewhere that the old 7.65 Argentine sometimes had a tight bore...either the, lands or grooves were not up to speck. This was my experience with the rifle I had, an old 1891. I was happy using .308 bullets in it.

This was 20+ years ago, when I was still learning to reload...he had been reloading for over 35 years at that point.

I have a set of dies called 7.65 B.M. I use the dies on Old Turkish Mausers and Argentine Mausers. Origin of the confusion, The 7.65 BM/Argentine Mausers were chambered to 7.65-30/06.

Confusion?
