Carry options for skinny guy

I used to do the 1:00 IWB with a J frame but didn't like the way it fit while driving. Since it was under the seatbelt I couldn't get to it fast enough and I hate to think that I would rupture a kidney in an accident. Now it's an HK P7 at 3:00 OWB. VERY comfortable and hides well under an untucked button shirt. And as mentioned, anything with a pattern helps.

I'm 6' 2" 170lbs. I have no problem concealing a Walther P99 in a Bladetech IWB holster wearing only a t shirt. I carry at 3:30 with a cant to the holster. Also, I am not a member of the Tight Shirt Brigade, so no problems.

IWB or pocket carry is a good solution. There are sone nice slim 9mms. Walther pps, Taurus 709, and the Ruger SRC9. All good for IWB. For pocket carry, A Taurus TCP, Ruger LCP and some others. Look at the De Santis Super Fly pocket holster. It has a couple options, one is like a wallet for you back pocket. It has a sticky exterior for pocket retention. I keep a TCP in the holster under the back of my fold down center console. It sticks real nice tucked in the back fold of the console. I reach back and it is right there. (standard cab, no back seat). Those pocket 380's are a blast. In the Taurus, just run 200 round through it (ball ammo), and it is a great little gun.
