Career Move - Handgun Safety

Thanks for the info and discussion.

And, yes, I've purchased two million in liability insurance thru the NRA.

And, yes, everything is being documented and above board.

The two local ranges I'm working with are excited and very glad there's a resource to give safety and shooting fundamental training to noobies.

I've been teaching and training professionally for nearly 20 years and still get excited about doing it.

Do you know any FFL dealers who would do referrals to customers or window shoppers who are new to firearms? Are any of the local gun shops or chain stores willing for you to put brochures in their stores? One thing you may want to consider is offering the course free to a few FFL dealers. This way they could take the course to see if they would be willing to make a recommendation. Hard to make a recommendation of you have not taken the course.

A concept that may help is listing and covering proper shooting form - accuracy. Ammo is not cheap, and almost everyone is interested in improving their accuracy.

Good ideas, all.

Yes, both training locations are helping to promote the classes.

They'll get new members and business from having people train at their facilities.
