carcano identification? help?

I am on a different monitor today and can see the pictures lighter. I see the oiler slot in the stock. I am certain now it is a Carcano Calvary Carbine in a Potbelly M1 Carbine stock. With a M1 Carbine oiler you could use an M1 Carbine sling on it. Interesting combination. It is a shame ammo is so expensive for that one.

27$ a box from hornady.... i shot it the other day the bolt is a little sticky but at 100 yards im shooting nice 1 inch groups surprisingly. Ive got a 30-30 and a 7mm with a scope ect but im determined to shoot a mulie with the carcano this week im headed out hunting wed!

Privi Partizan make ammo for it at a decent price. The clip is definately a must and are easy to lose so try to get a couple for spare. Old story on those is there once was an ad: Sale - WWII Italian rifles. Never fired and only dropped once.
