Cant find powder

I also have had a hard time searching for powders. Although I have found that when I leave town for any reason I can expand my search and that's helpful. I have found powder 100 and 250 miles from home that I haven't been able to find close to home. Find gun shops, Hunting sport shops, Shooting ranges, Gun Smith's and even some Gun Clubs have information on where to find what you may want. Make a list of what you want and put it in your wallet. I even have a son that works out of state and he looks for me.

Also, I guarantee you that the LGS has to pay Haz Mat fees, too. They just pass it on to you.

I have to agree with this statement, something that is $17.95 at Powder Valley, seems to always be $28 - $30 locally! So, I just make larger orders from online sources. I really noticed this when the same 4 lbs container of Longshot was only $10 cheaper locally than from Natchez.

The way to save $$ on powder is to buy 4- 8# jugs (2 cases) that can ship in one box for one hazmat fee.

One online warning - do not buy primers and powder from Midway or you will pay two hazmat fees as they have the powder dropped shipped from Powder Valley while they'll ship the primers from them.
