We all guilty of this...I'm sure...given the opportunity.

However, this certainty doesn't play into the ideal of safe gun handling. After all alcohol and guns don't mix. This would be a great talking point with the anti-gun crowd. Granted, not talking about something doesn't make it go away but why provide ammunition for their cause?

Haven't had a drink in over 15 years (sacrilege I know :D) I was just using the image for effect.
 
I took the reference to mean empty 12oz beverage cans generically .

But the days are gone in the eastern US of being able to (more or less legally) engage in free form plinking on random vacent land. One way or another you have to pay to play. Commercial range , private club , or buy farm/ acerage , and build your own private range.

Actually 5 min to indoor range is way ahead of the curve for everyone who doesn't have a private range at their home. Just use an OHSA grade mask , and follw the other clean-up steps.
