can you believe this guy?

tcsd - Ah! I didn't know they had moved. Sad.

Yup, they are in King Ferry now, although they retain the Ithaca name. I hear the quality is back near what it was after many years of slip-shod production, although I'll stick with my Remington, thanks.
Even our agency just went to the 870, dropping the old Ithaca 37's we had for so long.

I have an idea!

Let's challenge, en masse America's mainstream jounalists to a duel.

We can call it "First vs Second Amendment games".

Our rifles vs their typewriters, to the last blood.......

:D

I can't resist adding to this one. I left Ithaca in 1992 when I graduated from the college. I had a blast for 4 years in that town. One of the best times was going out to a piece of state land with some friends and blasting snowballs or clay pigeons out of the air with my Ithaca model 37. We used to take friends out and show them how to shoot. No one seemed to have a problem with it. Even the granola types. I wonder where this communist came from?

Hoppy:
Ithaca is overpopulated by lefty types who come here for school and never leave. They inflict their views upon the "less-enlightened" folk.
The ones that do decide to leave still mess us up, because they come to town, spout their ideas for a few years thinking that it must be some new and novel concept, then leave to inflict their views elsewhere. Thus we have the same on-going debates for decades because of the lack of institutional memeory amongst a large per centage of our population.

tcsd,

You just described Austin to a T! Don't get me wrong, I love the place, but there too are a bunch of people who think their ideas are the newest and bestest thing for the native knuckle-draggers who just haven't seen the light yet.

Has this guy lost his mind ???!!! I had to read this twice to make sure I wasn't hallucinating. At least I could blame "the brown acid" . . .

In any case, he must have had a hard childhood with a name like Dick Hunter. Sympathy would be wasted on this fool.

Dennis,
That was a cool post. :D
Been reading the bible again huh?
Take care & keep the brass flying. ;)

I found a quote which adequately describes the author of this piece:

OK. Rosie first. Oh, that's right, that doesn't apply to her hired help. How come? (Rhetorical question only.)

Cornell probably breeds these egg-head commies like there's no tommorrow. I'm in Grad school here in Buffalo and you wouldn't believe some of the misinformed boobs I run in to here! Universities are breeding grounds for communism.

This boob should find a copy of the Constitution to friggin' kiss--if the First Amendment were a bit less strong than it is, then his calls to destroy the Constitution would be treason. He could explain his theories to the firing squad.
