Simpson may not be the cheapest, but it's nice you can see the exact gun you are getting., and they have good selection. I have spent my fair share of money with them. I would rather pay extra and now what I'm getting vs luck of the draw. BUT luck of the draw can be a rush in it's own right.
I've actually gotten very few firearms from sales websites and auctions. My two best sources have been friends and the WTS Boards on a few of the gun websites I frequent. Most of the site members are stand-up guys and I have rarely been disappointed.
I have worked in two gunshops, but I usually only get new or modern used guns at work.
Can't complain about the deals, but I can usually get C&R guns cheaper elsewhere.
