C&R Pistols and Modern Day Cartridges

The 34 Beretta .380 is simply marked 9

Just to confuse things a little bit more.....There is also a 9X23 Winchester. It is a not too common target and match shooting cartridge. Starline Brass has them. The external dimensions of the Win cartridge are the same as the 9mm Largo, but the Win cartridge is much thicker and thus has much less internal volume. You cannot load the Win. cartridge to the Largo powder levels, but you can shoot the Largo rounds in the Winchester pistols. And you can download the Win cases to Largo pressures.
Some enterprising shooteres in Europe have cut 4 mm off of a Largo or Lugar cartridge and super glued them into the ends of the chambers of the Star Supers, essentially rechambering them to 9mm Lugar.

That sounds dangerous.

Here's my Radom VIS P-35 chambered in 9mm Luger.
