Bud's Police Trade Ins are generally in good shape. If it will make you feel better you can call Bud's and ask them. Their staff are all very approachable, knowledgeable, helpful and honest. If a used gun is a Dog they will tell you. Bud's prides themselves on good customer feedback and they tell it like it is. Way back when I bought my first 1911 I had it down to about 4 ranging from $700 to over $2,000. The guy on the phone down talked me to the $700 gun saying it was a better deal and better gun even though I was very ready to drop $2,000.
