Browning superposed.

Thank you so much for the information guys!! I plan to hold on to this set. I don't think I will ever use it though as I also inherited a few nice beretta shotguns including a 391A2 that seems like a very nice shotgun for skeet and birds. Also a nice Browning magum 20 that used to belong to my grandfather way back in the day. This set will just be in the family for a while like it has been. I may take it out once in a while just to play around but mostly it will stay in it's pretty little case. Thanks again for the help!!:D
 
Back in the day

They came from Browning in this configuration. They were offered so that a guy would not have to carry four guns to shoot four gauges. If My memory serves me correctly they were not offered in 16 but thats not a complete certainty. You will find Trap sets also offered in a similar style case with different barrel configurations. The Barrels have a filler so that one forearm will fit all four barrels. Its not apparent form the picture but if there was a side view you would see the insert (I am thinking this is that set). These were quite the item at the time.
